European Museum of Modern Art

This institution, sponsored by the Foundation for the Arts and Artists, explores the premier works of contemporary figurative art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Its mission is to promote the figurative arts and engage viewers by forging a new contemporary language without rejecting the traditions that preceded it.

The MEAM is different from any other contemporary art museum in that it actively and meaningfully supports artists who create innovative and unique work, embracing experimental forms, abstraction, video arts, and other emerging and exciting mediums.
